Our company was founded in 1994 by Cameron and Jeri Breckman. Shortly after the company was started, Jay Breckman (their first son) joined the business. Jay was asked to take charge of the operation and help grow LCL Spas & Billiards into a successful company to be proud of. The main goal of the company has always been to offer top quality products and services to our customers, while having some fun along the way. It was not long before Trevor and Eric Breckman were asked to join the operation (son’s 2 & 3). Trevor and Eric brought fresh energy and ideas to the company, as well as their individual skill sets. The three brothers and a host of loyal, hard working staff have helped grow LCL Spas & Billiards over the past 15 years, into the award winning company it is today. Cameron and Jeri have since retired and are now among our biggest fans!

In these ever changing times, our thoughts are with you and your families. Our first priority is the health and well-being of our customers, employees and families. This has always been and will continue to be first on our mind. We can assure you that we are taking necessary precautions and closely following the information being put out by local government agencies.

STORE HOURS: LCL Spas front door will be closed to the public for walk-in’s. We will be in the store accepting phone & e-mail sales calls & orders for pre-paid curb-side pick-up & delivery. Water testing will also be available curb-side only. “NEW”

RETAIL BUSINESSES

As of 12:01 a.m. Thursday November 12, 2020 the province of Manitoba will move to the Critical level (red). Restrictions under the provincial Red level for Retail: Retail businesses on the list of critical services remain open at 25% capacity. Businesses providing retail & wholesale services including: “Food or household consumer goods necessary for the safety, sanitation or operation of residences and businesses”. LCL Spas sells household consumer goods necessary for the safety, sanitation or operation of spas & pools.

Previous provincial guidelines & rules, many of which remain in place and relevant:
Effective May 4, retail businesses, such as clothing and shoe stores, jewellers, tailors, flower shops, sporting good/adventure stores, vaping supply shops, boats dealers, ATV and snowmobile dealers, gift, book and stationery stores, jewelry and accessory stores, toy stores, music, electronic and entertainment stores, pawn shops, pet groomers and similar businesses may reopen if occupancy levels are maintained in order to allow staff and customers to maintain a physical distance of at least two metres, except for brief exchanges. All businesses will be required to limit occupancy to 50 per cent of normal business levels. These requirements will be enforceable under public health orders.

Businesses may continue to provide goods by delivery or pick-up that have been ordered online, by telephone or other remote means.

We want to ensure that you are able to enjoy your hot tubs safely at this time. We will continue to offer access to laboratory testing at our store. Curb-side absolutely. Possibly in-store, depending on the most recent applicable government regulations.

Guidelines:

  • Staff must use the self-screening tool before coming into work. https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/
  • Employees must stay home when ill and customers are not allowed entry if they are ill with COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Staff are given information about physical distancing. Businesses must post external signs indicating COVID-19 physical distancing protocols, along with floor markings where service is provided or lines form.
  • Entry into the business, including lines, are regulated to prevent congestion.
  • Businesses must maintain a single point of entry.
  • No more than 10 people may gather in common areas. Congregation of people should be actively discouraged.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at entrances and exits for public and staff use.
  • Washrooms have frequent sanitization and a regime for business sanitization is in place.
  • Cashless or no-contact payment should be used to the greatest extent possible.

CLEANLINESS AND SANITATION PROCEDURES: (we will continue with the protocols listed below)
Additional and rigorous sanitation procedures have been implemented on top of our normal cleaning procedures.
  • Our bank machine and counters will be sanitized between each customer & staff member.
  • Other contact surfaces including doors will be sanitized several times a day.
  • We will be practicing 2 meter “social distancing” in store as set by government guidelines. Please respect the markers set up in the store.
  • Please use tap or pre-pay for purchases in advance whenever possible.


IN HOME SERVICE:
We will continue to provide you with essential in home service & delivery.
  • Please call or email to pre-book your service call & provide a credit card. 204-783-1112
  • You will be asked to disclose if you have been out of Canada in the last 14 days
  • You will be asked to disclose if anyone in your household is sick, or if you or anyone in your household are in quarantine
  • Please make all of the necessary arrangements for our service technicians or delivery staff to have access to your hot tub or yard without them needing to be in direct contact with you.
  • If you are home, please be considerate and practice the 2 meter “social distancing” rule with our technicians at all times.
  • Our technicians will not enter your home. If this becomes necessary we will evaluate on a case by case basis.
